About the Item
"Untitled (Sun Over the Rain Clouds)" is an abstract kinetic sculpture with many moving parts created by Arthur Bauman. The artist carved his initials into the red disc that hangs at the top of the artwork. This large installation belongs inside the club of "photos cannot do it justice". Arthur Bauman originally created this piece as a commission for a client's home. Both have since passed and now this amazing feat of motion and physics is installed inside our gallery! The first two photos are the piece installed into our gallery, the second two photos are of where it was previously installed. We have also included a scanned record of the original sketch design by Arthur Bauman.
