About the Item

Charles Lutz Olympus, Set of 4 Louis Vuitton Stacked Boxes Wood, canvas, leather, and brass Dimensions (stacked): 25.5 x 21.5 x 69.75 inches Unique Commanding in scale and presence, Olympus by Charles Lutz is a towering symbol of dominance, ambition, and refined disruption. Rising over six feet high, this stacked sculpture of four striking Louis Vuitton box sculptures referencing Andy Warhol is a bold statement piece. Both a sculptural icon and a conceptual power play. Lutz is best known for his subversive Denied Warhol series, in which he meticulously replicated Warhols and had them formally rejected by the Warhol Authentication Board. He has built a practice on pushing the boundaries of authorship, authenticity, and value. In his Luxury Sculptures series, he goes further. Where Warhol transformed everyday objects into art, Lutz reclaims those same now-mythologized forms and elevates them again, into emblems of ultimate luxury, strength, and visual impact. Each box sculpture is modeled after Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogrammed luggage and is hand-silkscreened, freehand-detailed, edged in custom leather trim, and hand-tacked with hundreds of brass tacks. The four boxes: Campbell’s, Brillo (3¢ Off), Brillo, and Kellogg’s, form a vertical, monolithic stack. Completely nonfunctional, these are not storage pieces; they are declarations. Closed systems built for display, not use. Precision-crafted objects that refuse to serve. Olympus is not subtle. It is a sculptural show of force. Clean lines, sharp angles, and unmistakable presence. It signals taste, intellect, and confidence. This is a piece that anchors a room, starts conversations, and doesn’t blink. Each box is fully finished on all sides. Campbell's - 10.5 x. 10 x 19.5" Brillo (3¢ Off) - 13.5 x 12 x 16.5" Brillo - 17.5 x 17.5 x 14.5" Kellogg's - 25.5 x 21.5 x 17.75"

Campbell’s Pea Soup Can Sculpture, Edition of 2, 2017 by Shelter Serra
By Shelter Serra
Located in Brooklyn, NY
Campbell’s Pea Soup Can, 2017, 3.75”x2.5” inches diameter, cast aluminum, edition of 2. Pop Artist Andy Warhol made the Campbell’s soup can an icon of Post War America. This version, cast from an original can, in solid aluminum, is an ode to Mr. Warhol and a slight reference to Popeye, who ate spinach to increase his stamina. Shelter Serra’s paintings, sculptures, and drawings explore mass consumption and cultural identity. He juxtaposes subject matters that are both common and recognizable: a Campbell's Soup Can, a copper plated baseball hat, and a Hermes Birkin bag...
