About the Item

Dale Chihuly is inspired by the organic forms of the sea and ever changing colors visible in the translucent purple of the outer layers speckled with opaque white, yellow, greens, orange, and blues that enliven the surface. The interior orange forms end with a teal lip wrap that curves and folds. Issued in 2010, this work is hand-blown glass that is incised with Dale Chihuly (Tacoma, 1941 - ) signature on the small bowl: 'Chihuly'. Incised edition number on the small bowl: PP09. Manufactured by Portland Press/Chihuly Workshop.
