About the Item

An upcoming exhibition of oil paintings by Hsu Tung Lung at the The Tainan National Art Museum in Taiwan. The exhibition is scheduled for March, 2025 and will feature a selection of Hsu Tung Lung's work from various periods, including some of his earlier realistic paintings. Hsu Tung-Lung (b.1947) is a highly accomplished contemporary artist, who specializes in paintings. His latest collection "Memory Landscape" features an original abstract oil painting on canvas. The painting is said to reflect the complex cultural background of Taiwan and the influence of Chinese and Japanese history. To authenticate the artwork, a signed certificate of authenticity is also included. Hsu Tung Lung graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University's Department of Fine Arts and has been actively working as an artist for over half a century. In addition to his achievements in painting, the artist has also made notable contributions in the field of sculpture. He has been fascinated with the idea of molding shapes and has also delved into related research. Throughout his career, he has gradually shifted from an emphasis on molding shapes towards an exploration of abstract stylistic language. Original artwork. All works are signed (edition of 6).
