Constructed of painstakingly shaped shreds of magazines, catalogs, and security envelopes, her materials facet into intricate explorations of symmetry, design, and transfiguration. Informed by the Pattern and Decoration Movement, craft traditions, and environmentally friendly practices, she builds these wall-mounted pieces with meticulous fabrication. The works are both maximalist and frugal with a true sense of purpose and calm, their meanings transcending the hints of text and array of colors.
