About the Item
Smooth black granite has been engineered to resemble a treble clef in this elegant outdoor sculpture by Canadian artist Jeremy Guy. An overture is a musical composition; usually the orchestral introduction to a musical.

He grew up in England where natural inspiration has come from the work of British modern sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Since completing a BA in Product Design (2001) from Leeds Metropolitan University, Guy has been in full time practice as a sculptor. He emigrated to Canada in 2007. Guy's stone and engineered stone sculptures can be found in public spaces and private collections worldwide.

Jeremy Guy
Jeremy Guy grew up in England where natural inspiration has come from the work of British modern sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. We first saw his sculptures when they were featured in an outdoor sculpture Biennale in Vancouver with many notable and established sculptors (like Magdalena Abakanowicz, Dennis Oppenheim, Albert Paley, Bill Reid, and Yoko Ono).
