About the Item
Smooth surfaced, black granite has been engineered into an elegant organic shape by sculptor Jeremy Guy. A flat aluminum base accompanies this sculpture. Base variations are available at a reasonable cost. This sculpture is number 4 of an edition of 50 and can be purchased on commission basis, please allow 8 - 12 weeks before shipping.
Jeremy Guy grew up in England where natural inspiration has come from the work of British modern sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Since completing a BA in Product Design (2001) from Leeds Metropolitan University, Guy has been in full time practice as a sculptor. He emigrated to Canada in 2007. Guy's stone and engineered stone sculptures can be found in public spaces and private collections worldwide including Queen Ethelburga's College Sculpture Park, North Yorkshire, UK, Orchard Residences in Singapore, the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Baltimore and more.
