About the Item
Jeremy Guy's new sculpture series are available in Mirror Polished Stainless Steel, Gold Finish or Painted in Black or White. This Zephyr sculpture can be ordered in multiple sizes, 2- 5 m in height (5 m or 16 feet is shown here). These sculptures are available on commission and take approx. 4-6 months to complete. Please enquire for sizing and finishing options. Pricing ranges from $120,000 -$450,000.
Elegant and imposing, this dramatic outdoor sculpture is by Jeremy Guy. The British born artist is known for his dynamic contemporary work often inspired by natural form. The flowing graceful curves of this piece are highlighted by the choice of material—stainless steel polished to a glossy mirrored sheen. Zephyr is named after the ancient Greek word for gentle breeze—‘Zephuros’—is also the name of the God of the West Wind. The bent form is reminiscent of the northern Canadian pines that often bow to the force of winds from the west. This sculpture is numbered in an edition of 7.

Jeremy Guy was born and raised in England where he completed a BA in Product Design from Leeds Metropolitan University. Since graduation in 2001 he has been a full-time sculptor. Guy emigrated to Canada in 2007. His stone and metal sculptures can be found in public spaces and private collections around the world including Queen Ethelburga's College Sculpture Park, North Yorkshire, UK, Orchard Residences in Singapore, the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Baltimore and more.

Jeremy Guy
Jeremy Guy grew up in England where natural inspiration has come from the work of British modern sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Since completing a BA in Product Design (2001) from Leeds Metropolitan University, Guy has been in full time practice as a sculptor. He emigrated to Canada in 2007. Guy's stone and engineered stone sculptures can be found in public spaces and private collections worldwide including Queen Ethelburga's College Sculpture Park, North Yorkshire, UK, Orchard Residences in Singapore, the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Baltimore and more. "In my own abstract work I am acutely aware that nature champions great design. From the shaping of a beach pebble through years of tidal and elemental erosion to the myriad forms found in biology, I am often awestruck.
