Kookaburra

2017

About the Item

The loud distinctive call of the kookaburra is remarkable: this Australian bird emits strident calls similar to human laughter. Kookaburra carries deep spiritual meanings: it appears to remind us to shine, laugh and have joy. It's as loud as the voice of birds, sonorous and gay. According to belief it transforms pain into jubilation. Color transitions that exist in nature are visible in the work Kookaburra. Its colors evoke positivity. Kookaburra is an invitation to be alive. Glass is made of liquid and ends up being solid. Why shouldn't agony turn to joy?
