About the Item
This large 3D print is part of a series of organic abstractions inspired by ocean conches. 3D prints are especially suited to the computer aided design process used to create these pieces. The tough, smooth plastic of the sculpture takes a beautiful paint finish, shown here in a light bronze color. Other scales and finishes are available for this piece as shown in the images. The piece can be suspended from a ceiling or in a niche as well as mounted to a 'tension bar' and base in stainless steel.

Lyle London
Lyle London grew up in Hawaii and graduated with a BA Cum Laude from Dartmouth College. His fine art sculpture strives to embody the alluring mystery of the natural world. Spiral geometry is a prevailing theme and is explored extensively in artworks over the last 20 years. He has created many large scale public art works as well as hundreds of smaller works and commissions for private placement. Clients include health care facilities, universities, hotels, and cruise ships, and municipalities. He was the founder and principal designer for an architectural metals and design business for over 25 years. 3D CAD provides a platform for his creative process in designing and engineering his work.
