About the Item
This sculpture creates a complex vortex of energy. Field contours are created using 60 individually cut aluminum plates are ground smooth and blasted with walnut shells to create a beautiful reflective satin finish. This piece is available in any size starting at 26" high (shown here including the base). Embedded bearings in the base allow the piece to rotate freely through 360 degrees. This sculpture is also available in stainless steel with a glass bead finish and requires a 7 week lead time to fabricate.

Lyle London
Lyle London grew up in Hawaii and graduated with a BA Cum Laude from Dartmouth College. His fine art sculpture strives to embody the alluring mystery of the natural world. Spiral geometry is a prevailing theme and is explored extensively in artworks over the last 20 years. He has created many large scale public art works as well as hundreds of smaller works and commissions for private placement. Clients include health care facilities, universities, hotels, and cruise ships, and municipalities. He was the founder and principal designer for an architectural metals and design business for over 25 years. 3D CAD provides a platform for his creative process in designing and engineering his work.
