According to Setlow: "Color and light have long been my areas of interest. Creating abstract sculpture using Plexiglas offers a significant ability to produce work with unique colors. Each sculpture alters when viewed from different vantage points. My work explores the abstract interaction of individual colors overlapped or set next to each other to produce a variety of tones and hues. The composite of all the individual components creates a distinctive visual statement. The sculptures are sensitive and meditative. They are celebratory and joyful. In part they are a result of my scientific background and my appreciation of colors of the sunrises and sunsets on Long Island where I live."

Kimber Berry is a Los Angeles artist, who is part of the "Flow Movement," a term coined by Art Critic (and curator) Peter Frank. Her artwork is vibrant and dynamic mixed media combining acrylics, resins and digitally altered photographs of her paint-strokes. As a native of LA, Kimber loves to blur the line between what is real and what is illusion.
In this latest series, Plastic Gardens, Kimber addresses the ongoing diminishing natural environments. According to Kimber, "Amongst hundreds of thousands of miles of concrete and steel we feel a distance from nature and are compelled to create green spaces, oasis, parks and gardens of cut grass, pruned trees and waterfalls constructed of painted concrete rocks encircled by highly designed flower beds, essentially nature on our terms. I've constructed this series of paintings inspired by these plastic gardens."
Berry has received a lot of positive attention from art critics and curators on the West Coast and has been featured in solo and group shows in New York, LA, Atlanta and London. 'Maina' is a contemporary abstract cast glass sculpture by David Ruth from his Internal Space series. It features painterly brushstroke formations in glass called trails. Trails are created through rolling molten glass into various forms and shapes. They are then placed within clear glass and fused into one large piece through kiln casting. This technique creates a layered, suspended, and vibrant three-dimensional space within.
About the Internal Space Series:
David’s experiments with sheet glass and fusing led him to try to make the glass thicker to see more interior space. It was during this time a professor pointed out that he was working with a metaphor, for which the internal space of the glass was the equivalent to the internal life of the mind. This became his operating mantra but also forced him to come to terms with the casting of thick sections.
