Philippe Hiquily is a singular artist, a sculptor, but also a creator of jewellery, furniture, engravings, and experimental kinetic and electronic works. His work is mainly based on games of form and balance and the "coupling" of sculptures and objects. Whether they are made of iron, brass or steel, stable or mobile, small or monumental, his sculptures all have the same principle: art should be funny, playful and aesthetic.
