In this 2025 work, Vera Vizzi invites viewers to “let go to dispel the fog in the eyes and head, to then go straight to the heart, which already knows everything,” merging celestial metaphor with marine echoes.
The piece offers an impossible landscape turned into a sculptural object—there is water on the moon. Through this paradoxical vision, Vizzi constructs a space where emotional depth emerges from surface tension. The dialogue between the textured white relief and the embedded aquatic forms evokes a fragile, dreamlike geography that speaks to both solitude and connection, remoteness and desire.
