The painting was inspired by feelings of loneliness and social distancing during the pandemic. The canvas is made to look like a cracked mirror with a jester in a red hat on the other side. The cracks spread from where the jester touched it with his wine glass. Life in the painting seems to be broken into many tiny pieces, where the central character is reflected holding his guitar, the only thing remaining after all love was drained out of his life. Quarantine reminds the viewer to cherish life in its fullness and the people that are dear to them. The painting is signed by the author and can be framed or unframed.
