A Fine Quality Polychrome-Patinated Bronze Bust of an Orientalist Princess.
The Princess wears a luxurious gold and silver brocade vest, with patinas that skillfully imitate gold and silver threads. Adrien-Etienne Gaudez's mixed media approach creates a constellation of vibrant effects from the silver patination, to the touches of deep red patina on her vest and bordering her silk turban, as well as the golden tassels that delicately fall over her shoulder.
