About the Item
In this sculpture I have embodied the idea of the Holy trinity. According to the Bible, God in the form of three angels appeared to Abraham's wife and predicted the birth of her first child. This plot is very popular in ancient Russian icon painting. And I love the aesthetic form of it. Three angels are portrayed with one bowl of wine, which Sarah treated them to, not knowing about the true nature of her guests.
I portrayed the angels as refined and weightless as possible. Bronze here seems light and transparent, while sculpture plastic flows like music
Born in 1954. 1976-1982 – graduated National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of sculpture.
2001 – Awarded with a title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. Work as a sculptor for more then 40 years. Participated exhibitions and fairs locally and worldwide. Had about 15 solo art shows While studying, Radionov worked as an assistant in National Opera Theater of Ukraine. Lives in Kyiv, Ukraine.
