About the Item
The author admires the beauty of the female body. Her movement - smooth, graceful and beautiful. The moment of awakening is very sensual. The girl stretches, revealing the beauty of her young body. Realistic manner shows her original beauty. Sculpture shapes create a play of light and shadow, curves, polished and brushed metal. The work is made of bronze- polish and patina.
This sculpture was created in the early period of Alex Radionov`s careere. The author's style was subordinated to the then current situation in the USSR - realism. Now this work can be classified as Vintage
Born in 1954. 1976-1982 – graduated National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of sculpture.
2001 – Awarded with a title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. Work as a sculptor for more then 40 years. Participated exhibitions and fairs locally and worldwide. Had about 15 solo art shows While studying, Radionov worked as an assistant in National Opera Theater of Ukraine. Lives in Kyiv, Ukraine. 2019 – Participation in Kyiv Art week. Ukraine - participation in art auction of contemporary sculpture. Kyiv, Ukraine
