Alexander Sviyazov
Alexander Sviyazov is a Russian artist born in 1987 who lives and works in Moscow, Russia. Graduated from the Moscow Surikov University of Art and pupil of Alexander Rukavischnikov, he is the author of numerous interior and monumental works in which he perpetuates the traditions of Russian and Soviet academic art while being inspired by different movements as modernism, impressionism, expressionism and surrealism. Sacha also received a silver medal from the Russian Academy of Arts. He obtained it for the monument to Arkardy Plastov, which now stands in the homeland of this famous Russian artist in Prislonikha, Ulyanovsk Oblast. The sculptor has also participated in numerous international exhibitions abroad, including the Florence Biennale.
