About the Item
Eighteen bright golden chrysalis sculptures had in a grid on metal specimen pins. Each chrysalis is meticulously hand sculpted in a durable epoxy clay without the use of molds and painted with a high quality metallic paint by New York Sculptor, Bethany Krull. In a statement about her work she says that she often things about how our inherent, absolute and unyielding love for the natural world calls us to study it, nurture its growth and to work towards its renewal even as our burgeoning population inevitably tears it down.
