Antique Bronze Dog Sculpture Chihuahua "La Petite Belle Lydie" Charles Valton (French, 1851-1918) Circa 15 1/2 x 10 1/4 x 7 Lydie is a Chihuahua making her a very rare image from the late 19th century. Lydie measures a bit over 12 inches. She is regal, she commands your attention with her presence Lydie is curious, sensitive, attentive and she is utterly fantastic. Charles Valton was a student of Antoine-Louis Barye  (French, 1795-1875) and Emmanuel Frémiet (French, 1824-1910)
