Comme l’hommage à Joséphine Baker, réalisé quelques mois après sa panthéonisation le 3 juin dernier, Dize est né en 1977 à Tahiti, artiste Graffeur et Designer a redéfini les graffitis à travers une carrière prolifique de plus de 20 ans.
Depuis les années 90, quand il a fait ses premiers pas dans le monde du graffiti, Dize s’est investi dans une recherche incessante pour ramener les graffitis à leurs racines authentiques, En suivant ainsi les traces des artistes légendaires de New York. Sa passion pour le graffiti s’est unie à une carrière florissante de designers, alliant créativité urbaine et esthétique contemporaine.
Fondateur des VMD (Vandals Must Die) et membre de groupes emblématiques comme les 156, Icone a toujours été guidé par le désir de perfectionner l’art de la lettre, repoussant constamment les limites de l’expression artistique.
En 2004, son influence artistique a été contenue dans une monographie intitulée "Warm Style Dizaster", qui offre un regard approfondi sur sa carrière et son impact sur la scène artistique.
Sa renommée s’étend bien au-delà des frontières de Tahiti, grâce à son style unique et à la maîtrise de diverses techniques artistiques, et lui a ouvert les portes de prestigieuses collaborations avec des marques renommées.
