Boisseau" and "Societe des Bronzes de Paris" foundry cachet. 31" H x 19" W x 17" D. The bronze sculpture "Le Troubadour" by Emile-André Boisseau is characteristic of 19th-century Neoclassical style. It depicts a seated minstrel in Renaissance attire playing a lute. Boisseau regularly exhibited works in this style at the Paris Salon.
