Bronzetto firmato alla base F. de Luca, artista meridionale attivo fra XIX e XX secolo, raffigurante un'allegoria delle Arti.
In secondo piano, la "Scultura", identificata da un puttino in piedi con in mano martello e scalpello immortalato nell'atto di scolpire un busto; in primo piano la "Pittura" rappresentata da un puttino con in mano tavolozza e pennello seduto di fronte un cavalletto su cui è poggiata una tela trattata con punzonatura a descrivere un paesaggio.
Questa tipologia di oggetti da scrivania divennero molto comuni fra sette e ottocento, prodotti principalmente come souvenirs dei i viaggi in Italia.
