Introducing "Albatros," an evocative sculpture by the late Belgian artist Isabelle Thiltgès. Standing at an impressive 210 cm in height and 30 cm in width, this piece exemplifies Thiltgès' mastery in capturing movement and emotion through form. Crafted in 2021, "Albatros" is part of a limited bronze edition of eight, with this particular piece being number four. Each sculpture is cast upon command at the Fonderie Avangini in France, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and quality.
"Albatros" is also available in a more affordable resin variant. The resin edition can be finished with either a bronze or marble patina, offering versatility to suit various aesthetic preferences.
Isabelle Thiltgès, a self-taught sculptor, spent approximately thirty years in Paris before returning to Brussels, where she continued her artistic journey. Her sculptures are celebrated for their refined lines and the seamless interplay between solid and void, often exploring themes of movement and stillness. Thiltgès' works have been exhibited extensively across Europe and the United States, earning a place in numerous private collections.
