2016

About the Item

Pear Tree Sculpture. Elegant, fine and unique piece, not replicable. Forged on wrought iron. Made by six different branches, easy assembled. The sculptor is fresh from the success of a major exhibition at MART, Museum of Modern Art in Rovereto (the most prominent in Italy), dedicated to him. Born and raised in Caldes (Trento, Italy), is one of the most famous contemporary artists mastering iron of our time. Ivan Zanoni has learned this rare activity from his father, Luciano, who, among other artworks, has sculpted a four-meter olive tree for Melinda and Bill Gates' foundation in Seattle. Ivan's artworks are inspired by nature; his artistic research represents trees, vegetables and animals' anatomy and their soul. All of his artworks are unique proofs made of wrought iron. The sculptor's works are also under commission. With his father, he counts numerous solo institutional and market exhibitions in Italy, France and Greece. Even if their most vibrant market is in the Anglo-Saxon countries: USA, UK and Australia.
