About the Item
Award winning British sculptor, Jane Shaw is passionate about capturing the essence and movement of animals, wildlife and figures. Her style of strong, spontaneous gestural strokes portrays her subjects’ natural power, dynamism and emotion. Often working directly from life, she produces bronzes for both inside the home and as well as larger scale garden pieces.
This beautiful abstract bronze is the perfect piece for a mantlepiece, coffee table or a bookshelf. The patina of the bronze figures' contrasts with the black stems and cream stone base. The texture of the figures draws the viewer in and showcases the emotions of the faceless figures.
Jane believes you should always be looking, observing and learning and these thoughts are portrayed strongly through her work.
