About the Item
A good quality, early twentieth century bronze model of an Eagle on a rock also 'Perched Eagle’ by Maximilian Fiot (French, 1886-1953). This bronze, signed ‘M. Fiot’, inscribed ‘Susse Edts. Paris Cire Perdue’, was cast using the lost wax process, in Paris. It has a dark brown patina with lighter brown and reddish undertones. The rock has green highlights.

Foundry stamp: Cire perdue and Susse Frères Editeurs Paris.
