About the Item

This pink, blue and green artwork titled "Wedding Boar" is an original sculpture on found object (taxidermy wild boar head) by PJ Linden measuring 20”h x 27”w x 12.5”d. “Linden, who has worked with Beyoncé, Willow Smith, Kelly Osborne, Solange Knowles, and Miley Cyrus, uniquely refines the use of non-traditional mediums, such as the kitschy, dimensional fabric paint, oft-referred to as puff paint, seeking to transfigure the biological into the supernatural, as filtered through the prism of a consumerist culture predicated upon the synthetic and the mass-produced.” –FLAUNT Magazine ABOUT PJ LINDEN Born 1985 Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. PJ Linden is a New York City and Pennsylvania based fine artist known for her abstract, three dimensional work. She paints with machine-like precision, creating microscopic patterns on found objects, fashion, and technology. Linden got her start working with Patricia Field, creating custom, one-of-a-kind art and fashion under the name Wonderpuss Octopus. At Field's iconic, namesake boutique, Linden's work caught the eye of celebrity clients including Beyoncé, Willow Smith, Kelly Osborne, and Solange Knowles. Linden has since collaborated with and created pieces for Miley Cyrus, KidRobot, Norma Kamali, The CFDA, Alife, Sharon Needles, Pearl Liaison, Samsung and Swarovski. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Marie Claire Italia, Culture Magazine, Plastik Magazine PAPER Magazine. She has shown alongside art heavyweights such as Andy Warhol, Shepard Fairey and Kenny Scharf, and has exhibited at The Hole Gallery, The Bridgette Mayer Gallery, Paradigm Gallery + Studio, Reverse Space, Superchief Gallery, Art Basel Miami, The Museum of Sex, and The Museum of Ice Cream. She continues to work as a fine artist, an international muralist, and the resident artist for The House of Yes.

Pigasus - Pink Pig Resin Sculpture
By Patrick Schumacher
Located in Miami, FL
In the Greek mythology, Pegasus was a handsome white winged horse. He was in charge by Zeus to bring thunderstorms and lightenings upon the Olympus Mount, known to be the Home of the Gods. In more recent times, Pigasus turned into a 145 pounds domestic pig, nominated for President in the 1960's by the Youth International Party the Yippies. This movement became popular for their stands against war and political establishment. Patrick Schumacher was inspired by this symbolic animal as a memorial of the Peace and Love era. Born in 1953, Patrick Schumacher is a German contemporary sculptor based in Nice, France. Classically trained in the foundation of Art in Strasbourg, France, he specialises in restoring art antiquities. As a result of his training, Schumacher acquired an extensive range of technical knowledge which he applies to a broad spectrum of materials. Finding inspiration in cultural origins combined with his interests in both classical and Asiatic art...
