Part of Ser Uang Huang’s Childhood Series. Gazing captures the playful innocence of childhood through the image of a boy forming binoculars with his hands, smiling as he peers into the world. The figure’s simple and unembellished form, with its visible carving marks, enhances its sincerity and warmth.
Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method, the sculpture faithfully preserves the grain and textures of the original wood carving.
