This is a very rare piece of Israeli Studio Ceramics art from the 70s. it has a patina of dust on it but I have left it as is. it is signed Sharir and dated 1975. Studio pottery is pottery made by amateur or professional artists or artisans working alone or in small groups, making unique items or short runs. Typically, all stages of manufacture are carried out by the artists themselves.Studio pottery includes functional wares such as tableware, cookware and non-functional wares such as sculpture.
