Volodymyr Mykytenko was born in Kyiv (Ukraine) in 1970. Education: Ukrainian Academy of Arts 1994.
He has been a member of the Kyiv Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1995.
Deputy head of the section of the sculpture of Kiyiv Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Member of the board of directors of Kiyiv Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
The works are exhibited in many halls of the Kyiv galleries.
The works are in private collections in Ukraine, France, Canada, Switzerland, the USA, England, and Holland, among others. Permanent participant in the exhibitions of the Alliance of the Artists of Ukraine. 2016 - Exhibition Truly Ukrainians - Nikolaev, Kiev.

This highly evocative bronze by Vincenzo Vela captures the deposed Emperor Napoléon on his deathbed, holding a map of Europe and lost in thought about what might have been. Remarkable among most portrayals of the exiled leader, this highly detailed sculpture depicts Napoléon at his most vulnerable.
