"Bounty" captures the crinkles and character of a paper bag in cast orange glass. Artist Jennifer Halvorson transforms a humble, disposable item into permanent sculptural object in which light and color vary with the thickness of the glass. Jennifer Halvorson earned dual BFA degrees in Metal and Glass at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She traveled to Denmark as a Fulbright Scholar and earned her MFA in Glass from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her work has been exhibited internationally, throughout the United States and Europe. She currently lives and works in Muncie, Indiana.
