You can check out the rest of the series on 1stdibs. The sculptures are about moving and movement. Artist Martijn Soontiens creates special atmospheres with his special bronze male statues. His images, from small to life-sized, show bodies in positions and movements that are and remain exciting while you look at them. The artist himself says about this: "I look for balance, excitement and vitality in my sculptures. I have focused on making bronze sculptures. Human figures are recognizable in a special way in the images. They reach and stretch, tie themselves together and show tension and vitality. Often in an expressive position that is almost impossible, which is reinforced by distorted relationships. The physical exertion and the possibilities of the human body, sometimes with the volatility of a dancer.
