Tom works from life…
preferring to sketch and model his dancers at his Hampstead Studio. He is a perfectionist and revels in the many avenues down which his multifaceted talent takes him, drawing, painting or sculpture. Tom also feels that one of the most important things in life is to be happy in what he is doing, thus guaranteeing that he never stops changing and evolving both as a man and as an artist. He is internationally celebrated in particular for the power and beauty of his life sized sculptures, many of which grace prominent public places throughout the world. Possibly the most challenging and poignant is the bust of Diana, Princess of Wales, commissioned after her death by the British Red Cross, this exquisite work is displayed at the Red Cross headquarters in London.

View AllUnique Peter Blake AA Road sign on sheet metal - signed
By Peter Blake
Located in Norwich, GB
This is a metallic AA road sign used to direct traffic to parking. In keeping with Blake's idea of 'Found Art', in which he uses art found in streets, rubbish dumps, antique shops and discarded items, turning them into works of art, this was an original road sign used for Blake's 2008 exhibition at The Saint Giles Gallery in Norwich and found by a customer and returned to the gallery during the show. Blake came to the closing of the show rather than the opening where he signed the sign. This is a unique item. One off.
Heralded as the ‘Godfather of Pop Art’, Sir Peter Blake was knighted in 2002 for his invaluable contribution to contemporary art.
Blake began his career creating collages from photographs, cigarette packets and matchboxes. This new approach to the creation of visual art – taking found imagery from Pop culture – was spearheaded in Britain by Blake and continues to inspire contemporary artists today.
Best known for creating the iconic cover to the Beatles’ 1967...

Mick Jagger on stage Rotterdam 1990 colour limited edition print
Located in Norwich, GB
David Koppel served his photographic apprenticeship in the rough-and-tumble world of the Fleet Street paparazzi in 1980’s London when his skills captured the very essence of the Me Decade that gave birth to the celebrity culture of today.
Koppel’s classic photographs of Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando, Jack Nicholson, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton & the Royal Family appeared in every major newspaper and magazine and marked him out as that rarity amongst press photographers: the artist with a camera.
Building on the reputation gained through the photographs for the book Still Waters, his black-and-white portraits of ordinary people now rank among the many famous names in his portfolio.
Koppel also went one better and in 2002 bought the St Giles St Gallery , bringing the best of local and international contemporary art and photography to Norwich, including the works of Sir Peter Blake, Terry O’Neill, David Bailey, Maggie Hambling, Storm Thorgersson, Tim Woolcock...

ANCIENT RARE BRONZE FIGURE OF DIONYSOS (BACCHUS) ROMAN EMPIRE 1ST CENTURY AD
Located in Milan, IT
This bronze sculpture is an exquisitely detailed representation of the god Dionysos, whose cult was one of the most popular in ancient times. Here, the god is nude, with a mantle that gently lies on his right leg. He is holding a bunch of grapes with his left hand, and a rhyton (drinking horn) with the right. The god is youthful and joyfully gazes forwards, with a crown of ivy leaves set upon his long flowing hair.
These features clearly resemble those of the life-size Roman marble sculpture of Dionysos exhibited at the British Museum, acc. no. 1861,0725.2 .
This statuette was probably part of a larger composition and used as a decorative element applied to a piece of furniture. Its finely wrought details, as well as the attractive olive-green patina led to its inclusion in the collection of the Fitchburg Art Museum for thirty years.
