Artists Inspiration:
“To encourage discussion and question society on the value we place on the sexual experience.
From my observations it seems society could not reconcile such a luxurious item for the act of sex. I was of the mindset if we accept genuine luxury into other aspects of our lives then why not the sexual experience. It had to be outlandishly lavish with a high level of status, so the term fit for a king or queen was foremost in my mind. I wanted to create a unique piece of jewelry art that would hold its own and could proudly sit along side the world's finest crown jewels. Ultimately for me it symbolizes how we should Treasure the Erotic.”
ABOUT COLIN BURN:
Australian artist Colin Burn is a bold provocateur in the world of conceptual art, using his work to disrupt societal norms and spark critical dialogue often around uncomfortable truths. His art pushes boundaries, urging viewers to rethink their assumptions on value, power, and meaning, especially in contexts often deemed taboo or overlooked. Known for his masterful fusion of symbolism and opulence, Burn transforms ordinary objects into potent allegories, frequently employing their high monetary value to amplify the emotional and intellectual resonance of his themes. He understands that society frequently ties value to price, and this awareness is central to his approach. With an attention-grabbing allure, Burn’s work invites viewers to look beyond the surface, encouraging them to explore the deeper, often concealed meanings behind what they see—reminding them that true value lies not only in the material cost, but in the idea or theme that it represents.
A compelling example of this is his Pearl Royale chess set, an opulent reimagining of the classic game. Beyond its luxurious design, the set transforms chess into more than just a strategic contest; it becomes a profound symbol of connection, peace, and mutual respect. By drawing on the game’s global significance and rich historical context, Burn reveals the paradoxes within human interaction—where even competitive engagement can serve as a medium for dignity, harmony, and shared ideals. Through such opulent creations, Burn draws attention and invites viewers to reflect on the cultural forces woven into our everyday lives, urging us to reconsider the subject matter itself as to where the true value resides.
Burn’s practice is deeply influenced by avant-garde pioneers such as Marcel Duchamp, Andy Warhol, and Damien Hirst —artists who revolutionized the boundaries of art and its engagement with culture. Like these trailblazers, Burn navigates the art world with unyielding originality, often using shock and irreverence to question the status quo. His provocative pieces, such as his luxurious erotic dildo sculptures, push the limits of art, sexuality, and seriousness, not merely for the sake of controversy and attention but as a deliberate dismantling of the systems that govern meaning and value. These works challenge the viewer to confront their own biases, assumptions, and the traditional hierarchies that shape their perceptions of art, life, and sexuality. Guided by a deeply personal philosophy of artistic independence, Burn asserts, "I would rather cut a path and be hit with the branches than follow in others’ footsteps." This rebellious spirit drives his continual exploration of identity, luxury, and the human condition. His practice is a constant journey of carving new paths within the art world, where conventional boundaries are questioned and redefined.
Before embracing contemporary art full-time, Burn spent over three decades as a fine jeweller, crafting unique and exquisite pieces. His jewelry garnered recognition from both the Australian and Japanese governments, as well as accolades from major Australian sporting organizations. In 2018, Burn made a significant transition, moving from commercial jewelry design to the creation of limited-edition contemporary artworks. This shift marked a new chapter in his career, leading to solo exhibitions in Perth, Tokyo, and Los Angeles, where his works have been met with critical acclaim. Through his art, Burn continues to provoke thought and push the boundaries of artistic expression. He challenges audiences to confront uncomfortable truths about the systems that govern value, meaning, and worth in an increasingly materialistic world.
His works compel us to reconsider the perceptions we hold of luxury, success, and societal norms, urging us to question whether these align with the deeper human experience.

"Casanova" 24K Gold and Diamonds Sculpture 8.5 x 2 in Ed. of 10 by Colin Burn
Medium: 24K Gold, Precious Cabachon Cut Gems, Diamonds & Pearl
Edition of 10
NOTE: preparation time may take up to 8 weeks.
Electroformed 24k yellow gold olisbos sculpture, embelished with beautiful smooth colorful cabochon gem stones, sparkling white diamonds plus exquisite sapphires and emeralds. Casanova inspired this venetian styled design, vintage itialian feel, rich in color and full of passion.
Sculpture comes with Limited Edition Artist Certificate of Authenticity and Jewelry Certificate of Materials.
Casanova’s playground the Venetian masquerade, with the mystery of disguise one shares in the freedom of naughty playfulness with no consequence of identity. Exploring new lovers in order to learn and grow we face our fears and jealous tendencies through uninhibited pleasure. Casanova the master lover inspires the freedom to explore and discover our deepest desires, surfacing our inner sexual being, imploring us to satisfy our insatiable imaginations and fulfill our wildest fantasies.
Artists Inspiration:
“I wanted to create a classic vintage piece in honor of the world’s greatest lover Giacomo Casanova, reflecting on his rich Venetian heritage and his impact on carnal thoughts and desires. The sculpture embodies the image of this red blooded Italian, full of passion, color and strength, dressed in ornate design and bursting with sexual energy. The piece had to scream Venice with all the mystery of disguise and its naughty playfulness. Smooth cabochon gems possessing natural sexual energy were my inspiration for the rich colors. The ornate wrought iron pattern on the shaft is reflective of Casanova's gateway to pleasure and my use of rich yellow gold, diamonds and pearl was to add treasure to the memory of this passionate man and his famous legacy of love.”

Sculpture comes with Limited Edition Artist Certificate of Authenticity and Jewelry Certificate of Materials.
Limited Edition - 10 Only
Artists Inspiration:
“My motivation to create this sculpture was to highlight how some in society view masturbation as a devils act. The piece portrays the view by embracing our inner demons, we remove any power others may hold over us in ones pursuit of so called sinful pleasure. In addition I wanted the work to be reflective of boundaries by creating a reverse set diamond collar, drawing the line on how far you are willing to go in pursuit of self pleasure. The rose gold represents warmth and the rich red garnet set tongue portrays the devils fiery entrance or his gateway to hell for those who have exceeded the boundaries.”
The sculpture embodies sinful lust and passion and is electroformed from pure 24k gold, finished in 18k rose gold, featuring 18k white gold collar reverse set with 5 carats of flawless diamonds. The horns are 18k white gold, pave' set with flawless diamonds and the eyes and tongue set with rich red garnets.

"Kings Remains" 24K Gold Sculpture 8 x 2 in Ed. of 10 by Colin Burn
Medium: 24K Yellow Gold, 18K White Gold & Diamonds
Edition of 10
NOTE: preparation time may take up to 8 weeks.
Pure 24k yellow gold skull and spinal olisbos sculpture featuring an 18k solid white gold royal crown, set with 10 carats of flawless sparkling white diamonds.
Sculpture comes with Limited Edition Artist Certificate of Authenticity and Jewelry Certificate of Materials.
The crypt of the Kings Remains represents mortality and preserved sexual energy. The sexual spirit lives beyond the grave, etched into history and carried forward by those who have experienced this erotic power. The energy of an erotic past runs through us all, leaving a perpetual sexual imprint for others to follow and immortalize.
“The encasing of mind, body and soul as entombed sexual energy, preserved among the ruins of life” - Colin Burn
Inspiration & Context - Immortality was the underlying inspiration when creating this sculpture. A Vanitas reflecting on ancient royal entombment as man’s vain attempt to remain immortal by being buried with ones treasures. I wanted the sculpture to represent the encasing of mind, body and soul as entombed sexual energy, preserved among the ruins of life. The sculpture symbolizes how ones sexual energy is at the core of their being and how it can transcend beyond the grave for others pleasure and satisfaction.
Materials - Electroformed from pure 24k gold featuring a solid 18k white gold royal crown, set with 10 carats of flawless diamonds.

Columnar I - Original Silver Sculpture
By Atticus Adams
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Atticus Adams' organically composed modern metal sculptures embody the transformative power of contemporary art, illustrating the creation of beauty, meaning, and emotional impact from industrial materials. Using mostly aluminum mesh—generally found in screen doors, windows, and filters—he creates contemporary abstract sculptural artworks and installations, which resemble flowers, clouds, and other natural phenomena. Working in metal, Adams effortlessly transforms rigid material into airy, effervescent artworks.
This 35-inch high by 10-inch wide by 8-inch deep tabletop sculpture created from aluminum mesh, gesso, acrylic paint, metal leafing, rivets, wire, and grommets on a metal stand. Size and price include stand. Atticus works spontaneously, feeling his way toward the objects that take shape in his mind as he shapes them almost entirely by hand. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included.
Atticus grew up in West Virginia, steeped in traditional folk art. Several members of his family are self-taught artists, deeply involved in such crafts as wood carving and quilting. His formal art training includes stints at Yale, Rhode Island School of Design, and Harvard’s School of Architecture. Atticus has fond summer memories of screened-in porches back home and screen doors that practically dissolved the barrier between inside and outside, allowing the warmth and nature to permeate each day. This association continues to resonate in his art.
“Metal mesh is a beautiful, flexible material that allows you to explore shadow and transparency in endless ways,” he says. “The material lends itself to these biomorphic shapes, which aren’t necessarily intentional . . . The sculptures seem fragile but are actually quite resilient—like nature itself.”
A well-known sculptor, the organically inspired artworks of Atticus Adams are held in public and private collections and are exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States.
