About the Item
In German, the meaning of the word "niemand" ranges from nobody, none, and no one to anybody. Apply that to Viktor's unique sculptures and a dose of humorous social commentary meets a meditation on the human ego. Much of the artist's work is autobiographical and contains references to family, self, and music (he still has a band with which he performs) - an unselfconscious examination of his life and loves. Viktor's signature Niemands, displayed at numerous museums overseas and in hotel and private collections worldwide, come in multiple formats that give us access to each of our petulant, inner toddlers. The (UE) in the title refers to the fact that this individual sculpture is a unique edition. There is no other one precisely like it.
