This large Mask is a reproduction of an original Baluba mask from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Luba people use masks like these to celebrate the inauguration of new chiefs, and for the welcoming of dignitaries. These masks are also believed to bring good luck to their owner. African wall art. This mask is made from solid aluminum and detailed by hand with ostrich eggshell, sourced directly from sustainable farms in South Africa. Afrocentric design.
