About the Item

Our bronze sculpture has been designed and developed specifically to help support Cheetah preservation. A percentage of each cheetah sold will be donated to the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia. We cast this bronze cheetah sculpture using the "lost wax" technique, and great attention was applied to the accuracy and details of this beautiful wild animal. It is a statement piece for discerning buyers, which brings a level of sophistication and appeal, for the ideal home. Our sculptures have added features that put them above the rest, such as treating them with a nano-technology protective coating, that protects and enhances the shine, and felt underneath to prevent scratching surfaces. We take great care in making sure our sculptures are of the finest quality, to ensure many years of enjoyment !

Silver-plated bronze baby giraffe sculpture
Located in Knysna, ZA
Giraffes grow to nearly their full height of 5.5 mt (18ft) by four years of age but gain weight until they are seven or eight. Males weigh up to 1,930 kg (4,250 pounds), and females up to 1,180 kg (2,600 pounds). They can reach speeds of 50 km (31 miles) per hour and can maintain this for several kilometers, but 60 km (37 miles) per hour can be attained over short distances. This giraffe silver-plated bronze sculpture is ideal to grace those larger interior spaces of a home or corporate environment and is sure to become a talking point. The sculpture is cast in bronze, and then silver-plated. The "lost wax" technique was used in casting, which is the preferred method, as it brings out every fine detail of the original sculpture. Zawadi’s sculptures have added features that put them above the rest, such as treating them with a nano-technology protective coating, that protects and enhances the shine, premium quality black paints used for the spots, felt pads under the feet to prevent scratching surfaces, etc. Zawadi takes great care in making sure our sculptures are of the finest quality, to ensure many years of enjoyment !
