C1120 Unstretched Abstract Light Gree Blue White Quotes Words Dictionary
By Zach Touchon
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
This work is a part of the "Chaos and Control Theory" Series - the artist's signature series. It was created with the pages from an Oxford Dictionary of Quotations. This technique gives a special character to the work - you can play with it by asking questions, pointing to any part of the work, and you will get a meaningful phrase or a word. The work has blue and white colors. Great for the modern interior. The work is unstretched and will be shipped in a roll. -- "Chaos and Control Theory" Series is about depth and space. It’s about information overload, and what information looks like when you take out a meaning. I create lots of layers, using found materials and printed materials. I do an abstract expressionism painting on a surface first before I apply the printed and found materials. And then I begin to organize the surface, ultimately thinking about balance and flow and how the piece is going to contribute to the space it is going to be hanging in. -- Zach Touchon is an American contemporary abstract expressionist artist and muralist based in Los Angeles, CA. Besides that, Touchon is also an actor, a singer, a screenwriter, and a writer. Zach Touchon is an artist in the second generation. By rethinking abstract expressionism ideas, using different media he creates large abstract artwork along with small collages, huge...

"Steaks, " 1970s NY Time Square photograph (New York street photography)
By Fernando Natalici
Located in NEW YORK, NY
In 1978, photographer Fernando Natalici, the creative mind behind the graphic design for iconic venues like CBGB and the Mudd Club, spent twenty-four hours shooting the raw scenery of Times Square and 42nd Street. "Natalici's shots candidly recall a Times Square of flashing marquee lights, electric sexual energy and wild lawlessness. His photographs resuscitate a New York of yesteryear in all of its chiaroscuro, with it all of the dark tenets of urban life that are today masked beneath a glossy veil of uniformity." (Jessica Dailey, Curbed NY, July 29th 2014) Archival Ink Jet Print 13 x 19 inches Hand signed & titled in ink on the verso from a limited edition of 10 Excellent condition. Obtained directly from artist. About Fernando Natalici New York based photographer Fernando Natalici is best known for his iconographic documentation of the downtown Manhattan art scene of the mid/late 70's and early 80's. Natalici’s portfolio includes sought after images of a young Patti Smith, Blondie, Talking Heads, Keith Haring, The Ramones and more. As an Art Director, Fernando has played a key role in creating memorable visuals for historic NY venues such as CBGB's, The Mudd Club, Area and Danceteria. Fernando’s work was recently featured in the Jeffrey Deitch curated show “Area” at The Hole Gallery NYC, with his film stills from "Unmade Beds" & "The Foreigner"- two of the most significant underground films of the 1970’s New York Punk scene, recently exhibited at The Museum of The Moving Image. Love and Life
By Domingo Zapata
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Domingo Zapata Born: Palma de Mallorca, Spain (1974) Lives and works: New York Awards: ‘Most Influential Artist of the Year’, Latino Heritage Celebration (2019) Exhibitions: Grand Hyatt Tokyo (2021), New York Fashion Week (2020), Art Basel Miami (2019) Domingo grew up in Palma de Mallorca in Spain, where his mother was a painter and his father painted cars. Surrounded by “paint and fumes”, he explored his heritage and learnt about artists like Diego Velázquez, Francisco Goya, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí. His art studies in London and subsequent political science degree took him to Wall Street, New York, in 1999, before he embarked on a career in the music industry and wrote lyrics for Michael Jackson. He was hugely influenced by pop culture and the aesthetics of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Created in oil and acrylic, Domingo’s works incorporate mixed media, collage and graffiti. His poetic imagination is visualised through layers of text and visual cues including symbols and iconic brands and figures. He says his work is a “conversation of colours”, with its distinctive style identified by the raw strokes of paint. Each piece is designed to have a positive influence on the viewer. Domingo’s art is collected by celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom...
