The Swiss interior architect and designer Hans Eichenberger followed this straightforward, modern style throughout his artistic life. Eichenberger was one of the co-founders of Swiss design. The HE-116 tables also stem from this legacy. Straight-line legs made of tubular steel support a simple wooden top, the symbiosis of art and craftsmanship
