This coffee table is a continuation of the Plump series of furniture as sculpture by designer Ian Cochran. The transparency and rounded edges of the table make it both contemporary and futuristic at once, while bold color makes a striking statement in any space. The shapes of the coffee table are meant to play upon the effect that resin has, as light is refracted through the solid parts. The table is only held together through notches at each joint. There are no glues or fasteners. Each piece fits together like a puzzle and can be disassembled and installed again just with your hands.
