Anka Moldovan was born in 1976 in Cluj-Napoca and has graduated with an Arts History degree in Madrid. She is an artist and she has become a specialist in Byzantine icons. However, Moldovan has also worked in Social Services and then she became involved in politics. While working for Social Services, she was very involved in the Romanian community and she has cared for their rights.

"I wanted to capture an air of mystery as my model Staceye gracefully turned around," shares artist Sherri Aldawood. Clad in golden garb, she twirls all while staring confidently ahead. With her background shrouded in shadows, she is cast in soft elegant light.
About the Artist
Sherri Aldawood didn't intend to always paint flowers, but over time her love of gardens started to permeate her art. She focuses on the light and color of the flowers on the canvas. Sherri prefers alla prima, working with wet layers of paint instead of letting them dry. She keeps the paint as wet as possible by using walnut and clove oil to extend the drying time.
