After his service, Adams studied at the Art Students League in New York City and then traveled abroad to immerse himself in Italian and French art. In 1924, Adams returned to Kansas, where his friend Andrew Dasburg encouraged him to move to Taos, New Mexico. There, Adams became the youngest and final member of the Taos Society...
