This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver tea caddy has an octagonal panelled form. The surface of this fine silver tea caddy box is plain and unembellished. This antique sterling silver tea caddy retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with the original cast sterling silver scroll decorated loop handle/finial. The anterior edge of the cover features a plain rounded thumbpiece. This exceptional example of Victorian silverware retains the original gilded interior. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver mustard pot made by Edward & John Barnard; an addition to our silver cruets/condiments collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a plain cylindrical form. The body of the mustard pot is embellished with pierced interlacing scrolling leaf designs. The upper and lower rim of this sterling mustard pot is ornamented with an applied bead decorated border. This fine mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged domed cover surmounted with an impressive interlacing tri-lobed thumbpiece. This antique piece is fitted with an opposing scroll handle ornamented with a plain scrolling thumbpiece. The mustard pot retains the original removable blue glass liner. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of cover are all very clear; the maker's mark to the interior of the cover have wear in keeping with age.
