Great king vulture on tree trunk Porcelain, Model by J.J. Kaendler 1734. This present porcelain sculpture was made after the model by Kaendler, in the 19th or 20th Century. There are no visible marks. Kaendler and Porcelain: Dresden in the 18th century owed its Europe-wide fame as a centre of courtly splendour to the elector Frederick Augustus I (1670-1733).
