Terraliquida Low Table, by Claudio Silvestrin for Glas Italia in Stock
By Glas Italia, Claudio Silvestrin
Located in Macherio, IT
Terraliquida low table is shown here in the transparent extralight glasss. Low table composed of a parallelepiped Limestone stone with a monolithic appearance and an element in tempered 15 mm. thick glued 45° transparent extralight glass that rests on it. The stone parallelepiped has the sides in a split-face finish, whereas the top is flamed. The materiality, the gravity and the solidity of the stone juxtapose the lightness, the purity and the ethereality of the glass. Born in 1954, Claudio Silvestrin studied under A. G. Fronzoni in Milan and at the Architectural Association in London. His integrity, clarity of mind, inventiveness and concern for details is reflected in his architecture: austere but not extreme, contemporary yet timeless, calming but not ascetic, strong but not intimidating, elegant but not ostentatious, simple but not soulless. Claudio Silvestrin Architects was established in 1989 with offices in London, and since 2006 in Milan also. The work of the practice encompasses real estate developments, newly built houses, spas, private residences, art galleries and museums, domestic and retail interiors and furniture design. Clients include Giorgio Armani, illycaffé, Anish Kapoor, Calvin Klein, Poltrona Frau, Victoria Miro...

Available in low Ringo coffee table size as well. His research is mainly focused on materials and their limits that brings to the discovery of their potentiality. His projects have been exhibited at: Maxxi Museum in Rome, Biennale d’Arte and Design of St. Etienne, London Design Festival, Biennale of Venice.Matteo Zorzenoni has been teacher at IUAV of Venice, cooperates with IED in Madrid and he hosted workshop for Domaine de Boisbuchet (Vitra Design Museum). After a collaboration with Fabrica, Benetton Communication Research Center, he started a new one with Jaime Hayon which is still going on. LAST ClassiCon Quartz Grey Bell High Table by Sebastian Herkner in STOCK
By Sebastian Herkner
Located in New York, NY
Tabletop crystal, glass black Available with a marble top for an extra charge In 2012, the Bell Table marked the starting point of the cooperation between Sebastian Herkner and ClassiCon. Within just a few years, the design has almost achieved the status of a Classic – probably because it also fascinates with the unexpected use of materials.
