Thanks to a customer who wanted this finish, combining a typical renaissance Tuscan gold leaf finish with a Mid-Century Modern shape. This beautiful sconce has three moving joints. On the backplate and the middle you have a dented joint for reaching any point. On the heads there is a turning and 90 degrees up and down to keep the shades vertical and aiming every position. Natural solid patinated brass. Aluminum shades dust sprayed lacquered in ivory and hand gilted by a local artisan in the Siena area. Pivoting heads helps with the light distribution in the room. The wide brass band and dramatically scaled flared cone makes the Monarch a strong design statement. This design is strongly influenced by both French and Italian Mid-Century Modernism. We are also able to make wall sconces, articulated wall-mount reading lamps, small chandeliers as well as larger and multi-tier chandeliers with the "Monarch" cone! Available to view at our NYC showroom in Chelsea! Dimensions as shown: The cones are 9" height , 5" diameter of the upper cone, 9" diameter of the lower cone. Total overall height as shown is 30", but may be easily edited to fit your space at no additional cost. This piece may use any E12 candelabra base bulb up to 60 watts (or use LED).
