b. 1944
Giampaolo Ghisetti, born in Venice in 1944, is a self-taught artist. He began to paint in the mid-1950s and moved to Murano in the 60s to work with glass. His artistic talent was rewarded in 1970 by a Gold Medal from the S.Andrea Academy in Rome. He is a recognized painter and decorative artist with several of his works in private collections all over the world.
