An exceptional, fine and impressive antique German silver flatware service for twelve persons; an addition to our canteen of cutlery collection.
The pieces of this exceptional, antique German cutlery canteen for 12 persons have a rounded form, in the Art Nouveau manner.
The anterior and posterior surface of each handle is embellished with an interlacing ribbon border incorporating floral spray ornamentation to either side of the handpiece.
The handle terminal of each piece bears the contemporary engraved initial 'M'; this text has been created using a characteristic typeface style for the Art Nouveau movement
The bowl of the soup ladle retains the original gilded interior.
This straight flatware service consists of 85 pieces:
